Joseph Chen

Hello!

I am a Postdoc at Sorbonne Université in the LPSM lab, working in the group of Piet Lammers. I am sponsored by FSMP. I recieved my Ph.D. in mathematics in spring 2025 at NYU Courant, where I had the priviledge of being advised by Eyal Lubetzky. Previously, I studied mathematics in my undergrad at UC Berkeley.

My interest is in studying interfaces/height functions of lattice models in statistical mechanics, including Ising/Potts, Random Cluster, and Discrete Gaussian. Here is my CV.
