Joseph Chen

Hello!

I am currently a fifth year Ph.D. student studying mathematics at NYU Courant, intending to graduate spring 2025. My advisor is Eyal Lubetzky. I previously studied mathematics in my undergrad at UC Berkeley.

I am interested in probability theory, specifically lattice models in statistical mechanics. My work has been on interfaces in the low-temperature Ising and Potts models (and related models, e.g. random cluster, solid-on-solid). Here is my CV.

I am on the academic job market in Fall 2024.
